Domain and situational awareness are the very first steps in personal defense. The best way to get out of a bad situation is to not get into it in the first place. Learning how to use the appropriate level of awareness, how to assess what you are observing, and how to use that information to take appropriate actions is what this course is all about. In this course we will cover topics such as: Domain Awareness Situational Awareness Information Assessment Reading Behavioral Indicators Verbal De-escalation Body Positioning and Physical Awareness This course is a culmination of numerous years of training and teaching federal agents these subjects at an advanced level. Joe has put these lessons into practice all over the world while leading teams of agents on counter terrorism missions for the Department of Homeland Security.
